学术成就
长期从事鱼类分子进化与鱼类分子生态学研究工作,近年来主持国家自然科学基金项目3项,美国NSF资助项目子课题1项,参与国家自然科学基金项目多项。在《BMC Genomics》、《Gene》、《Molecular Biology and Evolution》、《Molecular Ecology》、《Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution》、《Science》等国内外重要学术刊物上发表论文40多篇。研究工作受到国内国际同行的肯定,并应邀参与到相关的国际合作项目中去,如美国NSF资助项目ALL CATFISH SPECIES INVENTORY (http://silurus.acnatsci.org/) 以及美国NSF和NASA空间生物研究所联合资助项目THE TIMETREE CONSORTIUM (http://www.timetree.org/)。应邀撰写了由牛津大学出版社出版的学术专著《The Timetree of Life》(2009)的两个章节以及由Science Publishers出版的学术专著《Gonorynchiformes and Ostariophysan Relationships: A Comprehensive Review》(2009)的一个章节。
