学术成就
近年来,对鱼类性别决定与分化有重要作用的芳香化酶基因的表达调控做了开创性的工作,在罗非鱼、青鳉和南方鲇成功克隆了在性别决定和分化中起重要作用的一系列基因和类固醇合成酶,并开展了与这些基因有关的功能研究。在罗非鱼和南方鲇的性别控制方面取得突出成绩。先后主持国家科技部863计划项目、973计划项目、国家自然科学基金重点、国家自然科学基金委员会与香港研究资助局联合科研基金、教育部、农业部重点、948项目和省市课题10余项。
成果获奖
重庆市自然科学一等奖(2010); 重庆市科技进步一等奖(1998); 重庆市高等教育教学成果二等奖(2005)。
